Questions before you book
How far is River Walk from Sarajevo Airport?
2.3 kilometres — a 5-minute drive. A taxi costs around 10 KM (€5); we can arrange a transfer if you write to reception ahead of arrival. Reception is staffed 24/7, so late landings and early departures are never a problem.
Is parking available?
Yes — free outdoor and underground parking for guests. No reservation needed; tell reception your plate number at check-in.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 11:00. Reception is open around the clock, so arrival at any hour works. Need a late check-out? Ask the evening before — if the apartment is free, it is usually yes.
Is breakfast included?
No — and we say so plainly. Every apartment has a full kitchen, the supermarket in the building covers supplies, and Cafe La Soul on the ground floor opens at 07:00 for coffee and breakfast. That is how most guests solve mornings.
Do the apartments have kitchens and washing machines?
Every apartment — including the studio — has a full kitchen (hob, oven, fridge, kettle, cookware) and its own washing machine. There is a supermarket in the building.
Which apartment fits a family with children?
The Two-Bedroom Superior sleeps six across two bedrooms and sofa beds, with two bathrooms. For smaller families, the One-Bedroom sleeps four. Cots are free on request for children up to two; children of three and older count as adults, and extra beds are not available — the sofa beds cover it.
Do you offer weekly or monthly rates?
Yes. Stays of 7+ nights get a reduced nightly rate automatically; for a month or longer, write to reception@riverwalkrent.ba for a quote — long-stay pricing is significantly below the nightly rate.
How do I get to the city centre and Baščaršija?
Tram line 3 runs from Ilidža terminus (10 minutes on foot) straight to Baščaršija in about 35 minutes. By car or taxi it is 12 km, around 25 minutes.
Are pets allowed?
No — River Walk is pet-free throughout.
How do I pay, and is booking direct really cheaper?
You can pay by card online (Visa, Mastercard — processed by Monri) or at the property by card or cash (BAM or EUR). Direct rates on this site are the lowest available — platforms add up to 18% commission on top of what we receive.
